Coult-45 - DubStep - The young master of bass and whoomp

DubStep at its Filthiest

If you are familiar with DubStep in Denver, then you know Coult-45 and his Crew (Sub.Mission). This weekend Coult-45 opens for Flux Pavilion and Doctor P at the Fillmore (Sold Out....sorry for ya). Some of the largest names in the DubStep scene have come through Denver and the majority of the time Coult-45 is getting the crowd ready for the rough neck bass!!!!!!

Coult-45 just recently was at Global Dance Festival on the Sub.Mission stage. I saw a bunch of you there tossing your wigs and whoomping your limbs. He opened for Datsik this year and also has been named as a resident at Beta and (starting in September) Belly Up, Aspen.

Give these videos of Coult-45 a try........
BEWARE: YOUR COMPUTER MAY START TO MELT

You can see Coult-45 on Bassic Fridays.
Described by the parties involved as:
"This collaboration between Denver's leading dubstep promoter Sub.mission Dubstep, the longest & strongest Drum and Bass promoter Reload Productions, and the #1 Club in North America promises to provide only the best of the low-end bass spectrum genres!"

This DJ throws nothing but heat and always has a packed house. Get your tickets early and keep up to date where Coult-45 is gonna fire next!!!!!

His is always Grimey....and those around him feel his Grime...like the wind flowing through a set of wind chimes.......it booms in the venue and it whoomps against the walls. If you haven't heard.....Coult-45 is the word

THE HUNDREDS - Fashion - 8 years and still killing it

Erasers???..yes im serious
The Hundreds (Fb) have been around for 8 years now. It seems like a long time since I bought my first shirt and New Era. In fact, the New Era still is in circulation with my little bro in Cali. It has made it full cirlce since I was rocking it on a "fixey" in downtown SD back in 2005. I have watched, stalked, and screamed about this brand ever since. It has made its way up to the mountains of Aspen. I have seen the crew from LA's style all the way across the pond in England. Their tastes and touches are of the finest style.

Their style is the throw back 80's, the hip hop 90's, and the infusing of 2000's world into the fashions of the past. Their denim is top notch and their bags are as durable as a rhino........I've had a bag since '09 that is still working like a charm.

Their shoes are comfortable, stylish, and unique. Their designs are continuously changing the with the culture, the news, or the world. Their new "Fishing" shirt is a great statement for the world. The water is getting polluted and soon this image will be more of a reality. Be green!!!

The denim.....The Hundreds.....The Real Deal

My favorite callabo that I have seen in years!!!!....Sharpie and The Hundreds. How else would an artist practice a HUGE wall mural? How else would a skater be able to sign an autograph? Shapries are smooth and timeless.  Any artist, tagger, or person of leisure has used one in their life. Its something that we all need to have in our homes. They have erasers, laptop bags, slip mat, and pens in their line this season. They have captured the urban lifestyle in LA better than anyone. If your truly Grimey or truly Gatsby....................................The Hundreds (Fb) are your line!!

The Hundreds Shaprie.....KILLER!!!!

Fanny Pacs are back

New Fall stripes for the season......classic

"Fishing" Tee...the city way

The Hundreds do not disappoint. They bring the heat, the flame, the fiya. If you need to find some threads for a Huntington beach BBQ, a Manhattan evening out, or a ride to the surf in Hawaii........Their brand will not give you anything but the Gatsby!!!!!

You think you know the hot tip? You think you know what's coming next in fashion? You understand we are on your side? Follow us and we'll keep you looking like a true fly Player.....like The Gatsby

Touye Pwen - Webseries of Shottas, Gangstas, and Gatsby.....

I was introduced to Maurice Whitfield this week.

He is involved with a new webseries that is catching storm through the
MacBooks of America. TOUYE PWEN (fb page) is the name of the
series that R.L. Scott has produced. The show is edgy and Gatsby. It
shows the grimey street life and the lavish lifestyles of the "Baller."
I've caught up on the series and can say that it rings true for all you
city dwelling hustla's.

Describe by Shadow Multimedia:
"Four friends who grew up on the mean streets of New York find
themselves in Los Angeles through horrid circumstances. All members
of a notorious gang called "The Strap Set", they set their sights on taking
over the cities criminal underworld. But every action has it's price, as they
soon make more enemies than they bargained for. But everything isn't what
it seems and friends become enemies, while enemies become friends."

Starring:
Said Faraj (Greenzone), Amin Joseph (The Expendables), Chyna Mccoy
(The Matrix), Sean Riggs (Stomp the Yard), Black Thomas
(Step up 2 The Streets), Tracey Dukes, Monyque Thompson Scott,
Maurice Whitfield, Jasmine Hester, Kevin Lukata and Natalia Nunn

This cast is full of great heart and soul. They bring the grit and grime
of their performance in the streets of LA. I applaud them all and hope that
you give it a watch. I know I have enjoyed the hustle since day 1!!!!!

If you enjoy:
Shottas, Rap, Reggae, herb, stacking paper, women, lavish parties, Hip Hop,
Snatch, The Wire, homies, the streets, street culture, or anything that is truly
gangsta...................Find it on FB, SmpTV, and YouTube..........

Every Tuesday new episodes drop........
All Gatsby and All Grimey!!!!!

Mountain Rave - Ajax - Dubstep - Ridiculous amounts of people and things........

The Secret Garden.....

I attended a DubStep throw down this past weekend on Ajax mountain in Aspen. It was a total surprise to see 80+ people up there all getting down to the atmosphere, music, people, and things walking around the event. THADEUS, Gryme Tyme, BigKid, and the didge's gave off resonating sounds to the valley. Roger That kicked off the party with some drum & bass that was ever so nice. It was a geodesic dome party - if you don't know.....find out!!!! Three large domes all combined together to give you a feeling of some desert camp on the mountain. The people were all over the camp as the music, fire, and lasers stirred up images, talks, and dancing.  The grimey DubStep was pumping through the event and people danced all the way to their tents and back and forth and upside down.

The ocean of motion was a great feeling of synergy and filth as the bass was dropped over and over and over again for the face melting crowd.  A dragon came through the party at one point to show the party how to get down.  I saw skeletons, Iron man, a wizard, a ninja, a farmer, ballerinas, Batman, and Pebbles from the Flintstones.....all getting down at the "backside whoomp off throw down."

The Hooligans of Dub
The party was large and flowing as people played in the dome full of hammocks or the dome full of inflatable beds, couches, and chairs. A massage table appeared from the darkness and gave many an attendee pleasure and vibration. There were people playing in the spotlights.......throwing their shadows up on trees like banshee's in the night. BigKid killed the end of the set and had people begging for ice cream cones. Then the instrumental tones played over the rising sun. The Elk Mtn. tribe got down with some tribal tunes and singing as others retreated to their tents like vampires on the ridge......

The Elk Mtn. tribe drum circle at sunrise

The Hooligans of Dub were all dressed up as was the Elk Mtn. Tribe. The large crew of people that were watching the sun start its travel for the day were in awe of the music, laughs, and ice cream. Craxle Rose brought up 5 gallons of cookie dough ice cream and Gryme Tyme brought up the cones. Ravers in the sunrise uniting for ice cream cones and self -expression.  There were photographs being snapped all night and all morning. People together sharing chicken noodle soup over the shotgun blasts in the distance. All solid visuals of a completely successful Rave. Aspen knows how to party.....no doubt!!

I was thoroughly satisfied with my decision and I cannot wait to hear when the Secret Garden will emerge again to boom, whoomp, and laser into the morning again.

Thank you to all that helped put this wonderful thing together. You showed a lot of people a very very good time!!!!!!!

Sabre - Sunglasses for the Higher Learned.............

SABRE is a sunglass company from Costa Mesa, California. I lost my shades on a skiing trip in Silverton last winter. I was in Durango and had no tint for the windows. So I had to step it up a level with the SABRE Delirium. A solid black, gigantic framed, shade for the eyes. They have been with me ever since; and I'm stoked that they haven't fallen out anywhere along the way.

They have plenty of styles for everyone you know. The hipster, the hippie, the bikini bitch, the club seeker, and the philosypher in your crew can all find something to support their style and add a little grace.

The Gunclub

The gunclub is one of their new styles for the season. The two tone frames and hand made style go great with any avid pool dweller. They have solid color choices as well if you need the "black" accent for that daiper suit.

The Bikini Kill

Any hot women in a bikini knows that the sunglasses she has one are going to get looked at.......at some point. These frames are elegant and old skool all in the same piece. They go great for the pools, boats, and sunny street strips that you are strolling daily. Keep it classy with these dashing delights.

Die Hippy
If big, chunky, and boxey is your style...............if you have more handbags than dish towels.....if your fridge is full of carry out.........

You need these in your arsenal!!!!!

in honor of shark week......SABRE!!!!!!

Crooks & Castle's - Women's Fashion - solid styles for the Queen of Hearts & Diamonds

Crooks & Castle's  has come with the proper step for their new Women's line for 2011. The clothing is completely ravishing with great accents like bullets, AK-47's, cursive scripts, and most of all, the C&C style and colors they are known for. The fabrics are soft and cozy, and the style is dangerous and dashing. Their brand is known for patterns and fantastic logos of the high crime and fashion.

Their line "Rivals" is classic cuts and traditional style for the in touch male. Their women's line has the softest touch of Cali beach with the LA Hollywood crispness. C&C has the clothing for the anyone that is looking to express their inner debauchery.

I have had their chain link collection for years now. The hat is timeless (and also seen all over the cities of America), the tank top is fly, and the sweatshirt is durable and expressive. They have a fish scale pattern that is just as devilish.

The "GoHard" Poncho

These items are available now. The shorts are perfect for the East or West coast weekends and retreats. The "GoHard" Poncho is the piece for your wild women. Durable fabrics and high end fashion make for a great Queen's wardrobe.

A Grimey Favorite!!
