From Tennessee born Ashley Monroe "Hippie Annie", Kentucky beauty Angaleena Presley "Holler Annie", and Texas gem Miranda Lambert "Lone Star Annie" ring in the new grimey country trio of the century. With Presley and Monroe's background work on Nashville's Music Row, and Monroe's work with indy famed rocker and producer Jack White at the table. Alongside one of country music's biggest stars Lambert bringing her three successful number one albums (Kerosene-2005, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend-2007, Revolution-2009) to the table. The newly formed trio got right to business writing and recording songs, and with barely six tracks down. Pistol Annies were offered the incredible opportunity for an official debut on the Academy of Country Music's Girls Night Out on CBS in April of 2011. Fighting through the nerves these ladies proved their Gatsby sides with their first live band practice being only moments before the show at rehearsal the day of. With the declaration of wicked, raw girl power dished out at every show and the marrying of these three distinct voices together.
