JazzAspen recap - Sunday - FieVel & LOLO, Porter Robinson, Franti, and FUN!!!

JazzAspen Sunday for Franti

Jazz Aspen Snowmass

JazzAspen was going off this weekend at Snowmass. The crowd was immense and Sunday sold out.....yeah an outdoor music festival that sold out!!!! Feivel & LOLO, Porter Robinson, Michael Franti and Zac Brown Band all brought the noise for the crowd to dance, sing, and reconnect from last year. The mainstage featured Franti and Zac Brown. The new Electric JAS stage featured the dynamic duo of FieVel & LOLO from Denver. They have opened for some big names on the front range and now are bringing their sound to the masses.

FieVel on the tables.......

FieVel (soundcloud) & LO LO (soundcloud) have been on the front edge of the Dub scene in Denver for the past 3 years. Watching, learning, and instructing today's "Who's Who" on the electric scene. They have a great sound, killer technique, and engage the crowd to the fullest. Check this video from RESTREPO.

I stopped by to kick it with some friends at the main stage after LOLO finished the set. It was a sea of humans moving to the happiness of Michael Franti. He was moving throughout the crowd with a camera man following him. Great energy for the crowd and great weather for the day. Couldn't have asked for a better Labor Day weekend at Jazz Aspen Snowmass. Porter Robinson was the last set on the Electric stage and brought his usual "hard house" beats to the crowd. People were flipping around and stage diving off the speakers. It was a solid performance since he flew straight in from "Electric Zoo" in NY. Porter has a tour coming up too.....with a little person named Tiesto!

It was a great day of electric music at a festival full of newbies, ravers, and rockers. Check out the music from all of the performers. FieVel & LO LO and Porter Robinson broke in a lot of new faces for the electric industry.

LO LO taking in the scene

ALWAYS GRIMEY!!!!!
