I met Jay while working at Basic in downtown San Diego in 2005. He was a polite gentleman with a swagger and style of the street. We spoke about his store and thoughts on music of the time. Jay has never let the cred slip. The kid is always fly and rocks the 'stache like no other. 5 & A Dime has dropped collabo's, events, clothing, art, and anything else hot, fresh, fly, grimey, or Gatsby.

5 & A Dime is continuously changing their racks and their tunes. They stay current and most of all they stay innovative. I have seen some great creations of art, sound, and fashion come from their top notch boutique store in San Diego.
One of the features to their site I enjoy most is "5D." IT features the staff, store, and brands of 5 & A Dime. "Challenge of the Week" is always something I try to stay up on.
