Meant Clothing - Fall into Gatsby

The Mile High mavens of elegance and comfort are at it again...
GG put you on to Meant's innovative and unique styles back in May.   Their Fall Winter 2012 Line: Phoenix dropped at  Grassroots Colorado's October 24th Party and is available online now!

Calling the line Phoenix is appropriate. Meant CEO Talia Sandoval got her start revamping thrift store finds and giving them new forms. Years later, Meant's innovative ideas continue to give new life to simple shapes.  In this time of shift, why not embody the phoenix and rise anew from the ashes?  Meant's vibrant palette evokes the fire that births the phoenix, and the options for combining their classic pieces with funky printed items provide you the chance to don some impressive plumage.

Meant x GRC hats...3 styles, 2 colorways!

Check out the Video Lookbook for Phoenix, featuring Denver's urban landscape and Flosstradamus' ill remix of Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" (and a nod to that video in the first segment):

New this season, Meant branches out into pants and Men's style.   If you're looking for comfort, snap up a pair of the Hammer Time Pants, which feature a drop crotch and deep pockets.  You're also gonna want to snag whichever pair of leggings you dig, as in keeping with Meant's philosophy of designing unique items meant especially for an individual wearer, there are only 2 pairs in each pattern!  Stay cozy this fall with the new Chain Fringe Pullover, or layer up with the Hi-Lo Hem Top.

For the fellas there are now super soft pocket tees, plus 3 styles of flat brims (which of course look good on the ladies too!)  Meant's second collaboration with GRC is an homage to play and creativity, featuring a spin art inspired under brim and liner (see photo above)

Just like a Phoenix, Meant is bringing new life a few of their already ingenious designs with some great  variations and improvements.  The popular infinity scarf is now available in Infini-Minis, which can be worn solo or in all sorts of fresh combinations.  Seizing on the popularity of their detachable hoods (which can be combined with their Whomper Dress), the Meant gals added snaps to their Infinity 2.0 Scarf. Now you can mix and match your hood, dress, and scarves for infinite looks!

Check out Phoenix online and in-store at Grassroots Colorado.  And FYI--you can see more Meant custom finery this week when The Polish Ambassador comes to town. TPA is playing 4 Colorado dates, and is likely to be rocking the custom Space Suit sewed for him by Meant's CEO and Creative Director Talia Sandoval. The suit has rocking features like a built in laptop case, air vents and detachable sleeves.
