Vibration Sequence - Music Review

VS

(Vibration Sequence)

The Denver electronic duo of Tom  Moore and Cole Hopfenspirger had been producing their shimmering beats under the name of EVS (Eternal Vibration Sequence). They recently dropped the E from the name, and next to drop: their debut album!

VS showcases their debut album on December 15th, with an album release party at Larimer Lounge in Denver. The party will also feature local acts Tnertle and Alixir as well as NYC's
Breaking Rad . Doors open at 8pm. Show starts at 9pm.
$8.00 In Adv | $10.00 Day Of Show | 21+

You can listen below to the first track from the album, a VS remix of Lana Del Ray's "Without You". We dig how VS tripped up Lana's vocals, making her sound more fragile than feisty.  The high hat work is impressive and the build -about a minute-in really captures the listener.  By the half-way point you're on a sonic journey guided by Lana's voice, like Odysseus lured by the sirens. If this track is any indication of what's to come on the album, we cannot wait to see, hear and vibrate to what's in store.
