The weather is starting to change and it is time to bring plants inside from the garden. Or maybe you're just looking to add a little color to your surroundings as we head into the colder months. Either way there are lots of options for creating planters to hold your flora. Green Gatsby always loves an upcycle, so we got very excited by this DIY project: Book planters! Books, plants and up cycling? Dream combo. Pick out some cacti or succulents (they have shallow root systems, which work best in this kind of low container), grab some used books at the thrift or a fall yard sale, and get to it!
