Want to party your brains out this weekend? Or just eat some brains? Then make sure you don your ghoulish best and make it downtown this Saturday, for Eye Heart Brains annual zombie extravaganza. It's the 7th year for the Zombie Crawl, plus there are more exciting events all day and night, including bumping parties from the GGfam cats at Sub.Mission.
Start your day on the Organ Trail. Starting at 11am in Skyline Park, this "urban adventure is part Amazing Race, part Fear Factor and part Haunted House". Think Tough Mudder but with blood and guts! First place prize is $300. Online registration is $55 and day of is $75. Get more info here.
Next up, make up and costume help will be available at Skyline Park around noon to get you looking freaky. The crawl itself kicking off at 2pm. Around 4pm the zombies will parade down 16th Street, just in time to get to the tag set that Sub.Mission's residents will be playing in Skyline Park. That will run from 4-6pm, with a costume contest at 5:30.
At 7pm doors open to the OFFICIAL AFTER-PARTY at Cassleman's. The line-up is a treat for bass-hungry brain hunters.... a DJ set by Celldweller, Sub.Mission's very own Subliminal, as well as DJ Kriminal and Carmela Carmela. Get in the spooky spirit firedancers, live tattooing, free psychic readings, a zombie hair show, and much more. Get there early because sponsors like Bacardi will be offering 1000 free jello shots and zombie cocktails!
